FAQs

Can I control an entire heater with a single switch?

These wall switches are rated at 20amps per switch and not all heaters can be controlled by one switch. It is up to a certified electrician to determine use case. For example, a 6000W Tungsten heater has two 3000W elements and will be able to have individual element control for power variability.

What products are compatible with wall switches?

All Tungsten and Platinum models in both gas and electric are compatible.

Are the wall switch kits surface mount or in-wall?

The indoor wall switch kit is in-wall and the outdoor wall switch kit is surface mounted.

What color is the switch and box?

The switch is a standard white and the switch box is a dark gray.

What size breaker and wire do I need for these switches?

This will be determined by a licensed electrician/installer in accordance with local code.
